A 36-years-old female patient received bnt162b2 (Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 mRNA vaccine, Batch/Lot number: EJ1688-L464), via an unspecified route of administration on 31Dec2020 at single dose for COVID-19 vaccination.
Medical history included multiple sclerosis from 2007 and ongoing.
Patient had not had symptoms associated with COVID-19.
Patient was not enrolled in clinical trial.
Patient was not pregnant.
Concomitant medication included gabapentin for Multiple sclerosis, fingolimod hydrochloride (GILENYA) for Multiple sclerosis and influenza vaccine (INFLUENZA VIRUS).
The patient experienced joint pain and headache on 31Dec2020, muscle ache and multiple sclerosis relapse on an unspecified date.
The events were reported as disabling/incapacitating.
Paracetamol helped headache.
Taken ibuprofen for muscle ache and joint pain but it had not helped.
Had made it painful to walk and felt like her MS symptoms have flared up.
