A 53-year-old female patient received the first dose of BNT162B2 (Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 mRNA vaccine, Solution for injection; batch/lot number and expiration date were unknown), via an unspecified route of administration on 29Dec2020 at a single dose for COVID-19 immunization.
The patient's medical history and concomitant medications were not reported.
Since 29Dec2020, the patient had a loss of her sense of taste and smell that was unresolved.
The patient wanted to know if this was a known side effect.
The patient was not recovered from the events.
