A 52-year-old female patient received BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE), via an unspecified route of administration on 09Dec2020 at single dose for COVID-19 vaccination.
Medical history included blood pressure high from an unknown date and unknown if ongoing, diabetic from an unknown date and unknown if ongoing, asthmatic from an unknown date and unknown if ongoing.
The patient's concomitant medications were not reported.
The patient experienced vomiting on 09Dec2020, nausea on 09Dec2020, vaccination site pain on 09Dec2020, joint pain on 09Dec2020, chills on 09Dec2020, generally unwell on 09Dec2020, muscle ache on 09Dec2020.
All the events were reported as serious (disability, medically significant).
Verbatim: The patient had a number of symptoms since vaccination the day prior to the report.
Namely, nausea, vomiting, joint pain, muscle aches, chills, pain at site of injection, unable to lift arm which was injected into.
General feeling of being unwell.
Started to feel nauseous around 20 minutes after injection, steadily got worse throughout day.
Vomited later, then muscle aches started and unable to lift arm.
Rang GP awaiting advice.
Harm experienced - Minor.
The outcome of the events was unknown.
