Write-up
Within minutes of receiving first dose of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, patient became lightheaded and pale, developed clammy skin, and was confused.
He was assisted to a supine position with his feet elevated while his vitals were checked.
His symptoms rapidly resolved in this position, and he was noted to have the following vitals: P: 60; BP: 118/68; O2 Sats: 98% on room air.
He remained supine for ~15 minutes and then was able to sit and ultimately stand without return of symptoms.
He was monitored for 30 more minutes during which time he remained asymptomatic and was able to tolerate eating and drinking without difficulty.
He was released to home with advice to seek immediate evalution for any symptoms.
