Pt.
seen by ENT, did systemic steroids x 2 but had to stop due to palpitations.
Had injection of steroid into eardrum x 3.
Did 16 hyperbaric treatments for this.
3 Audiology tests were done during this time to evaluate hearing.
Write-up
Pt was had sudden loss of hearing 28 days following the booster shot of Pfizer vaccine.
Complete hearing loss on the R side, with tinnitus and near complete hearing loss continues on this side and not able to be corrected with hearing aid.
