Patient came in for 2nd COVID-19 dose.
Per nurse she offered Pfizer since it was what he was given as a 1st dose.
He refused Pfizer stating he came in to start a new series.
He wanted Novavax.
He stated it was okay, it should be given.
Nurse administered vaccine stating "I felt pressured" due to the patient's credentials.
Nurse was reminded of off-label request protocol and of chain of command for difficult situations.
Her temp agency was also contacted.
