Acute myelomonocytic leukaemia; Death; Skin contusions; This is a spontaneous report received from a contactable reporter(s) (Consumer or other non HCP) from the RA.

A 90-year-old male patient received BNT162b2 (COMIRNATY), on 15Jun2021 as dose 2, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) for covid-19 immunisation.
The patient's relevant medical history included: "Chronic leukaemia" (not ongoing), notes: Chronic myelomonocytic leukaemia.
The patient's concomitant medications were not reported.
Vaccination history included: Covid-19 vaccine (DOSE 1, MANUFACTURER UNKNOWN), for COVID-19 immunisation.
The following information was reported: CONTUSION (death, medically significant) with onset 30Jun2021, outcome "fatal", described as "Skin contusions"; DEATH (death, medically significant) with onset 16May2022, outcome "fatal"; ACUTE LEUKAEMIA (death, medically significant), outcome "fatal", described as "Acute myelomonocytic leukaemia".
The patient date of death was 16May2022.
Reported cause of death: "Conversion of the chronic leukaemia to acute leukaemia.

Clinical course: includes the male patient 15 days after vaccination with Comirnaty developed skin contusions.
After examinations he was found suffering from chronic myelomonocytic leukaemia.
Two days later, the chronic leukaemia was converted into acute, and the patient died.
