The reporter is the parent.
A 6 year-old female patient received bnt162b2 (COMIRNATY) (Batch/Lot number: unknown) as dose 1 (tris), single for covid-19 immunisation.
Relevant medical history included: "Exposed to COVID-19" (unspecified if ongoing).
The patient's concomitant medications were not reported.
The following information was reported: DRUG INEFFECTIVE (medically significant), SUSPECTED COVID-19 (medically significant), outcome "unknown" and all described as "showing symptoms of COVID-19".
The patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: sars-cov-2 test: unknown results.
Clinical course: The reporter had the primary series and a booster dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
She recently tested positive for COVID-19 and her daughters (includes the patient) were exposed to COVID-19 after they received their first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine pediatric formulation.
Both of her daughters are showing symptoms of COVID-19 and they have been tested but have not received their test results yet.
The patient was scheduled to take the second dose at the time of report.
