could not walk; Lethargic; A spontaneous report was received a consumer (patient's husband) for a 72-year old female patient who received Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine (mRNA-1273) and experienced she was lethargic and could not walk.
The patient had secondary progressive stage MS.
On 25-Feb-2021, the patient received her first of two planned doses of mRNA-1273 (Lot number: 011A21A) intramuscularly for prophylaxis of COVID-19 infection.
20 hours after the injection on 26-Feb-2021 she was lethargic and could not walk.
Patient's husband called an ambulance and she was transported to the hospital.
The patient was hospitalized at the time of reporting.
She was currently needing physical therapy.
